Merle Luhaäär studied a Fine Arts BA with Honors at Kingston University, London and a MA at Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn in Art History and Visual Culture. She has exhibited internationally at Ōlleteek, crn of Pikk str and Vaimu str, Tallinn, Estonia; Videoformes, France; 100 years Futu Muhu Festival, Estonia; and The Artbox Basel 1.0 Euroairport, Switzerland. She is currently writing art reviews for online art magazine Echo Gone Wrong, Vilnius and weekly newspaper Sirp, Tallinn whilst preparing for an MA specialising in Print at the Royal College of Art, London
